Brother B: "Momma, Pappaw and I saw a walking cane that had a sword in it. If you twist the top off the cane, you can pull out a sword. I told Pappaw you could really hurt someone with that sword if they try to get you. He said you could also hurt someone with that cane and not have to use the sword. He said you could just beat the hell out of them with the cane."
Me: "He said WHAT? Pappaw said WHAT!!!????"
Brother B: "you know, you can just beat the Devil out of someone with the cane."
Me: "Did Pappaw say 'hell'?"
Brother B: "No mam, but he said Devil and that's the same thing."
