Easter 2008

This past Easter weekend was full of Easter egg hunts and family. The fun started Saturday with a Easter egg hunt at my cousin's church, Central Baptist Church. The boys enjoyed all the festivities of jumping, balloon art, magic show, petting real rabbits, clowns, face painting, and the great Easter egg hunt. It was even more enjoyable with cousins Abbey, Alex and Ashlyn. My Aunt Myra was there to help with the little ones along with my mom. The Easter Bunny was there...Alex and Abbey took advantage of the photo op, but CB and BB wanted no part of it. CB waved and said hey and bye from a far, but that was the extent of it.

After the church egg hunt, we went to visit my grandmother. She fixed a great lunch and the little ones hunted eggs again and played outside.

Easter Sunday we went to church and then to visit more family enjoying more food and egg hunting. The boys enjoyed playing with cousins Cannon, Chandler, Abbey, and Alex.

It was a beautiful weekend celebrating the Resurrection of our Lord for without the Resurrection, my Christian faith would be in vain. His death paid the ultimate sacrifice for my sins allowing an eternal life with Him.
